When regular guy Stan is invited to the chic, sprawling country estate of his girlfriend Cleo’s family, he is overwhelmed by their sophistication and status, and desperate to save face—especially in front of Cleo’s famous mother, France, whose birthday the family is celebrating. Tensions rise when an after-dinner game of Trivial Pursuit takes a serious turn and France’s son, Virgil, convinces the family to play for dangerously high stakes: a treasured family heirloom.
