あらすじ
June 1940. As German troops invaded France, Aristides de Souza Mendes, the Portuguese consul in Bordeaux, undertook “the largest rescue operation carried out by a single person during the Holocaust.” Defying his superiors and the orders of dictator Salazar, he helped thousands of refugees reach his homeland, risking his own life in the process.
