Take eleven stunningly beautiful Romanian girls, give them dreams of fame, add an impresario of dubious integrity and a ruthless businesswoman, put them all in a bus to Paris, shake it thoroughly, set a broken-hearted husband in pursuit and what do you get? A road movie which, given the state of Romanian roads, can only be a comedy.

"Nae Caranfil, who directed "Les Dimanches de permission" in 1993, has created a small masterpiece. The tone is original, the directing lively, the camerawork dazzling and the screenplay witty. We move effortlessly from irony to suspense and from laughter to emotion. Amid all the fun and turmoil, Charlotte Rampling reigns supreme."
