Millions of people spread out across the world, disturbed by Earth's evolution, have decided to join together. They're all guided by the same desire to ameliorate things, to no longer be subjected to current events and be left powerless to react.
Through the Internet, they create the first virtual country: 8th Wonderland.
Although an individual has little chance of being heard, a country stands a much greater chance of intervening at an international level. Each week, all the inhabitants of the 8th Wonderland vote by referendum a different motion. If it is adopted virtually, the inhabitants are responsible for applying it. But what would happen if the 8th Wonderland motions were to, little by little, become more reactionary? If the way of reacting were to slowly but surely approach terrorist behavior?
The gathering of nations would then be faced by an unsoluble problem: How do you capture millions of people spread out throughout the world?
How do you combat a country that doesn't exist?
