Mark and David, two seasoned war photographers, are on a mission in Kurdistan. While the first decides to stay put a few more days in the hope of a photo that could make him famous, the second can no longer stand the daily violence and desperation. What's more, he wants to go home to his wife Diane, who is pregnant with their child.
Badly injured, Mark ends up in a field hospital before being sent home to Dublin, where he learns that David has disappeared.
