In 1968, the poets of Harlem create The Last Poets. With words as bursts of machine-gun fire, the cult group denounces the oppression of the Africans-Americans and draws up a portrait devastating and full of humor of the life in the ghetto on the background of percussions, of jazz or of funk. After forty years of separation, the members of the founding legendary group of hip-hop, rap and slam, meet in Paris for a unique concert during the festival Blue Suburbs in 2008.
