Quyang has multiple sculpture factories that produce many images from other cultures. By accumulating statues, most often monumental, the village has become a hallucinatory storage space. The passive, tired, and mute bodies of the workers contrast with those of the divine, the idol, the hero, sculpted in marble like a material for excavation. The film shows this social and political landscape by following the workers and seeks to capture the energy of this place in a poetic form.
