L'Absente
あらすじ
A deserted road by the sea near Dunkirk. A young girl flees from a lorry chasing her in the night... As she runs, she is hit head-on by a car. When she wakes up in hospital, she doesn't know who she is or what happened to her. Yet everyone here recognises her. She is Marina, a ten-year-old girl who was kidnapped one winter's day by the side of the road! That was eleven years ago. Eleven years that the police have been searching for her without success.
But who is this unknown woman really? Is she really little Marina? If so, where has she been for eleven years and what happened to her? These are the terrible questions asked by the Masson family, who have been living with the ghost of their missing loved one, without ever knowing what happened to their daughter, sister, goddaughter...
