The operator of the "Medeia Filmes" cinema, owned by Paulo Branco, has decided to devote one year's programming for its 200-seat "cinema Nimas" theater in Lisbon to French cinema. As of December 22, 2000, French films already released and yet to be released will be screened at the theater. Modern Life and Les Destinées Sentimentales opened the program, to be followed by films such as The King's Daughters, Harry, He's Here to Help, The Children of the Century, The Captive and Human Resources.
