Didier Talpain, cultural attaché at the French Embassy in Athens, has organized this French Film Festival for the second year running, with support from the major Greek distributors (Rosebud, Prooptiki and Nea Kinissi). It will take place in the Greek capital from March 23-29 this year. The following films have been selected: “La brèche de Roland” by Arnaud and Jean-Marie Larrieu, “Tomorrow's Another Day” by Jeanne Labrune, “Les destinées sentimentales” by Olivier Assayas, “Innocent” by Costas Natsis, “Laissons Lucie faire” by Emmanuel Mouret, “Nightcap” by Claude Chabrol (Rosebud), “La parenthèse enchantée” by Michel Spinosa, “Deep in the Woods” by Lionel Delplanque, “The Crimson Rivers” by Mathieu Kassovitz (Prooptiki), “Te quiero” by Manuel Poirier and “The Town is Quiet” by Robert Guédiguian. The artistic delegation will include Philippe Bas, Marine Delterme, Jean-Pierre Darroussin, Lionel Delplanque, Jeanne Labrune, Anna Mouglalis and Michel Spinosa. The festival will be held at the Apollon Cinema (with seating for 550), and will be followed by a homage to Eric Rohmer, with some twenty of his films being presented.
