On Thursday, June 27, Costa-Gavras will be at the Cinecitta to receive the Globo d'Oro for Best European Film for "Amen."
After votes were counted from 500 members of the foreign press in Italy, "Amen" came out on top, hotly pursued by "Talk to Her" by Pedro Almodovar and "The Triumph of Love" by Clare Peploe. This is French cinema's second consecutive victory at the Italian Golden Globes in the Best European Film category after last year's win by "The Crimson Rivers" by Mathieu Kassovitz.
