Club Unifrance will be offering its services at Cannes for the 9th consecutive year.
For the past nine years, Unifrance has provided a space dedicated to its members and partners of French cinema from around the world at the heart of the international village on the Pantiero.
Club Unifrance has now become one of the most highly appreciated locations for press attachés and distribution companies wishing to organize meetings with French actors and directors.
Last year, the Club welcomed around a dozen French film crews throughout the festival.
The Cannes Film Festival is the ideal time to catch up with directors of international film festivals, to meet with foreign distributors, and to work on a daily basis with journalists from around the globe.
The complete Unifrance team (including the directors of our offices in New York, Japan, and China) will be present throughout the festival to work on preparations for all upcoming events in collaboration with our partners.
The 9th Unifrance Short Film Award will be presented for the third year running by a jury composed of international television buyers committed to broadcasting the winning film. The FIPRESCI jury will also deliberate at Club Unifrance before returning its verdict.
Cannes is also the time when Unifrance will announce the final results for French films in international territories in 2009.
