French films scooped up numerous awards at the 43rd International Critics' Week, including the Grand Prix, jointly awarded to "Brodeuses" by Eléonore Faucher (France) and "Or (Mon Trésor)" by Keren Yedaya (France/Israel).
The Critics' Week Grand Prix, given out by the press, comes with a €5,000 cash prize and an invitation to spend 3 months in residence at the Moulin d'Ande for each director.
Like the Grand Prize, the SACD Prize (which this year attributed for the first time a €1,500 cash prize to one of the screenwriters of the 7 feature films selected) was jointly awarded to Eléonore Faucher and Gaëlle Macé for "Brodeuses" and Keren Yedaya and Sari Ezouz for "Or (Mon Trésor)."
