About
""Rosine" was born during my first year at the Femis. First project, first fiction, first set theme hurled at us in two words : "Violence and Passion". As soon as those words settled in my mind, I imagined a mother and daughter in bitter conflict with each other. A mother jealous of her daughter becoming a woman. I felt the need to film two women, each caught between two ages. This relationship has fascinated me since the day these images appeared before my eyes and I haven't been able to turn away from the subject until completing "Rosine". I shall probably return to this mother-daughter relationship... later. I still have images, words and I hope, emotions to share."
