あらすじ
Fifteen years ago they were a famous couple, darlings of the stage and silver screen, but time has passed and now Hugo and Gigi have separated. Hugo has continued his career fairly happily, but Gigi has sunk into oblivion, alcohol and depression. Hugo is preparing his comeback to the stage, but on the first day of rehearsals he discovers that his partner, a well known name in the theatrical world, has backed out. Egged on by Maillard, the financially troubled theatre manager, Hugo’s agent Sylvestre comes up with an idea: reunite Gigi and Hugo and create a media event. The only problem is to persuade the pair of them to appear on stage together — by no means an easy task, given their troubled past and waspish temperaments. Sylvestre pitches in with all his cunning and diplomacy, much to the dismay of Léon, the director of the play, for whom the prospect of having to handle these two wildcats is an ordeal he will have a hard time overcoming.

About
"I enjoy writing, whether by myself or as a group with the Splendid, where we had hours of guaranteed horsing around, laughing and going nuts. When I write alone, I have the pleasure of thinking I wrote that play or did that adaptation all by myself. But maybe that’s because I’m never alone, I’m with the characters. The characters lead you, you don’t direct them. After a while, when they really exist and they have their own personalities, you can’t just get them to do anything you want. They’re the boss !" (Josiane Balasko)
