あらすじ
A winter evening. Victor, 10, runs away from his parents’house. A stab in the dark, after a stab with a pair of scissors. Flight. Fear. Exhaustion. An amusement park lights up the night. Young guy on the carousel, Mick. Victor faints.Wakes up next morning in Triche’s room. Weird girl, Triche. Sleeps half the day and works all nighth. Not easy, having this strange kid appear out of the blue. But the mornings go by and Victor stays and Triche lets him. Invisible ties that bind two suffering creatures. Naturally. Beautifully. Painfully.

“‘Victor... While It’s Too Late’, loosely adapted from ‘Les Ailes de Julien’ by Denis Belloc, is Sandrine Veysset’s second movie. The decision to make it had already been taken before ‘Will It Snow for Christmas?’ was presented at Cannes in 1996. It is interesting to speculate how the press might have reacted to it, had ‘Will It Snow...?’ not been such a hit. As the producer of both films, I know my own feelings very clearly: Sandrine Veysset’s career as a film-maker is well and truly underway.”
