Doggy Bag
あらすじ
She's a normal enough young woman but her mother always preferred the dog to her. One day she imagines her mother's dog dies. So she heads into Paris at night to bury it on her own. But she meets a young man ready to help her who explains that a dead dog is worth a lot of money. Do you follow me? As for the man, he wonders whether the young woman might have a problem with dogs...

About
When Michèle and I now think of some of the scenes in "Doggy Bag," what we both find unsettling is how much of ourselves we see in them. We put a lot of our own obsessions and hang-ups into the film – nothing unusual in that, true, but what we see still puzzles us. Our interest in psychoanalysis, for instance: in the film, Jeanne uses the dog to settle a few scores, whereas Michèle and I used the film. OK, we wrote a comedy, but attentive spectators should be able to see the ritual or psychoanalytical tale underneath.
