Local Call...
あらすじ
An old coat belonging to Lucien, Félix Mandel's father, is the only object that remains after Lucie, Félix's wife, does a massive spring clean of their apartment. Félix has only just given the coat away to a tramp when the phone rings. Lucien Mandel's enraged voice echoes down the receiver. But how can it be: he died two years ago!
Is it a joke, is Félix hearing things? He'll soon find out - but at a price: these phone calls from the great beyond cost him a fortune.
From this day on the life of Félix, son of Lucien whether he likes it or not, becomes a succession of mishaps, for better and for worse, that lead him to discover new aspects of himself. Although the voice from the tomb haggles, rants and leads to his ruin, it also guides Félix as it instructs him to find the coat. He loses everything in the process: his wife, his job and his house!
When his wandering is over, leaving him penniless, will Félix manage to at last unravel the mystery of the coat and find his own way again?
