あらすじ
September 2005. The Israelis leave the Gaza Strip. But what is happening in the West Bank? Three Palestinian cities are slowly dying due to confinement and suffocation: Nablus, rebellious, vibrant, and noisy; Hebron, resigned, empty, and quiet; Qalqilya, which is dying. And a giraffe, with wide staring eyes and an infinitely sad gaze. Based on the accounts of inhabitants of these three cities, the film shows us the population's distress and isolation. How to live and survive in the West Bank.

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager. At high school, she would like to be loved like she is at home and expresses it in an awkward way like when she exchanges a favor for a look, in the toilets. A loudmouth, provocative, and seeking attention, Diane tries to stand apart from her mother and wishes, during a weekend, to live like an adult.
