あらすじ
The temple of German expressionist cinema, technically ahead of its time and established in an ideal setting, the Babelsberg Film Studio was promised a bright future. The Second World War was followed by forty years of a communist regime during which GDR filmmakers would create the first anti-fascist films and then attempt to fend off censorship. This film recounts their history and that of the DEFA which, from 1946 to the fall of the Berlin Wall, was the emblem of GDR cinema.
