あらすじ
Bassin d'attraction appears to be a fake animal documentary. The film questions the sacred relationship to objects and the different status they are given throughout their lives. Precious objects (ex-votos from the ETRU National Etruscan Museum, Villa Giulia in Rome), ornamentation from churches, or Roman sculptures, as well as contemporary detritus, rub shoulders and evolve together in a kind of amniotic liquid. The usually inert forms have been transformed into autonomous creatures: these composite beings interact, gesticulate, attract each other, react. By adopting the point of view of the objects, by insufflating them a dose of desire, by granting them a semblance of soul, the artist reconsiders the border between the living and the non-living.

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager. At high school, she would like to be loved like she is at home and expresses it in an awkward way like when she exchanges a favor for a look, in the toilets. A loudmouth, provocative, and seeking attention, Diane tries to stand apart from her mother and wishes, during a weekend, to live like an adult.
