あらすじ
After ten years in prison, Céline is free. Between rebirth and relapse, “The Object of Curiosity” sketches her return to daily life and the discovery of a new romance.

It is not a tale of escape but of liberation. I want to give Céline a second chance, to allow her to inhabit the film for the time and space of its duration, and to make her a soldier on the frontline - valiant, courageous, touching and resolute in her desire to live, finally. It’s rare for a director to have the chance to actually meet the character he had previously imagined. With Laura Smet, I have been given that chance. Her story connects with and adds weight to Céline’s.
