あらすじ
August 2021, the Taliban seized Kabul. Michael Le Guen, a French RAID agent assigned to the Embassy, is unable to evacuate the Afghan family he has become friends with and loves like his. The parents, Noor and Laila, are executed. Michael vowed to save their 11-years-old daughter Marwa, a mischievous little genius who dreams of becoming an astronaut and now hates him for breaking his promise. Forced to flee by car, then on muleback, crossing an Afghanistan that is both dangerous and wondrous to reach the Uzbek border, Michael and Marwa only have the sky, the high mountains and an Afghan fixer as allies. Amidst danger, heartbreak, absurd situations, Michael and Marwa, a constant source of questions, gradually rebuilt their trust, forging an unexpected bond that would change their lives forever.
