Set during the 1936–1939 Arab revolt against British rule, the film revisits a pivotal moment in Palestinian history through an intimate, human lens.
Premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival, where it received a 20-minute standing ovation, it was also selected as the Palestinian entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 98th Academy Awards, making the December shortlist.
