"Gay, witty, ironic, far from goog and evil, Désidéria is a character without age or sex. Gentle and resolved, disenchanted and loveable, she represents ambiguity with lightness and grace. Her way of life is different. She's a positive person who knows how to feminize masculine aestheticism, without going overboard, without resorting to the hackneyed clichés of cross-dressing, and with an absolute faith in human nature. She cherishes a dream, which in the end will inevitably come true : love as the only alternative to moral hypocrisy." (Carmine Amoroso)
