Two cafes face each other in a modest square in the heart of a Parisian neighborhood. Here drugs are bought and sold. Deals enforced and slot machines installed.
Money changes hands. The neighborhood’s young folk are the main players in this dirty game; they make a few bucks and risk losing their lives. Mild-mannered Alain watches the world from behind his bar. He’s slow to understand exactly what’s going on, even slower to react.
