あらすじ
On his return from a doctors' convention, Camille Prader is waiting for his bags in the airport terminal when Clémentine, his current girlfriend, surprises him by coming to meet him, looking radiant... Just as she tells him that she is giving everything up to live with him, Camille realizes that he has picked up the wrong bag: by mistake, he has taken that of a young musician, Juliette Graveur. Without hesitating, he seizes this opportunity to get rid of Clémentine and invents a love-affair. Little by little, despite himself, Camille gives Juliette more and more room in his life. He invents shared memories for them. He even goes as far as buying clothes for her. With each passing day, he makes the lie more and more present. Until he can no longer get rid of Juliette...

"Luchini's biceps"
"I based the anaesthetist hero of "The Juliette Year" on the image of Atlas bearing the weight of the world upon his shoulders. This Herculean icon distanced me from Fabrice Luchini momentarily and I even thought of looking for my Camille in gyms or weightlifting competitions. Little did I know that Fabrice is a colossus in his own way, capable of giving body to every fantasy. This notion of a more physical imagery was a sort of challenge : it was exciting to show Luchini stripped to the waist in a changing room, being slapped in the face in an airport or kissing Philippine Leray-Beaulieu smack on the lips. The beacon of the French language didn't always accept these dangerous exercices contentedly. Never mind ! The day will soon come when our most eloquent actor whill show up the most audacious stuntmen..."
