あらすじ
In Mexico, a missionary monk named Brother Benoit finds a young chimpanzee by the side of the road. One year later, “Mookie” turns out to be a very special chimp: she can talk! Scientists want to steal her for research. Meanwhile in the same city, a hard-headed French boxer named Antoine Capella refuses the $1,000 he is offered to take a drive. The monk and the boxer have to get out of town. So begin the adventures of this very unlikely trio. And it’s a long way to Mexico City.

About
I enjoy writing and directing family comedies so there’s no point depriving myself of the pleasure! I thought up ‘An Indian in the City’ in 1994 for my 11-year-old daughter, who was watching only American films because that’s all there was available. Why should the Americans have the monopoly?
