⚡'The Electric Kiss' ('La Vénus électrique') marks Pierre Salvadori's return to period romantic comedy, combining whimsical deception with emotional depth. Set in Paris in 1928, the film follows Antoine, a grieving painter who has lost both his wife and his creative inspiration. His desperate attempt to contact her leads him to Suzanne, a carnival worker who pretends to be a psychic. As their staged séances restore Antoine's artistic drive, Suzanne finds herself caught between fraud and genuine love.

🖼💘Blending melancholy, humor, and romance, Salvadori explores the fragile boundary between illusion and truth. Celebrating cinema's ability to transform grief into imagination through tenderness, wit, and emotional grace, the film opened the 2026 Cannes Film Festival to general acclaim.
